How do I collect my keys?

Please ensure that you arrange your check-in time prior to your arrival so we can meet you at the property when you arrive. If you are going to be late, please let us know so we can make arrangements accordingly.

We are going to arrive late, what do we do?

Please note that our official office hours are from 08h00 to 17h00, after which our reception will be closed. However, we understand that things come up - if you are unable to check-in during office hours please let us know so we can come up with an alternate arrangement.

What is the standard arrival/check-in time?

Check-in is between 14h00 and 17h00.

There is a good chance that someone else checked-out the morning of your arrival date, so we require some time to ensure that everything is perfect for your stay! If you are in town early, please feel free to leave your baggage with us whilst you wait for housekeeping. Please consult your booking confirmation for more detail.

What is the standard departure/check-out time?

Check-out is between 07h00 and 10h00.

Please ensure that you check-out on time so that we can prepare the unit before the arrival of the next guest.

What if I need to cancel my holiday?

If for some reason you need to cancel your stay with us you will be charged 50% of the total price if you cancel after reservation and the total price if you cancel in the 30 days before arrival.

Can I book more than one unit of accommodation at the same time?

Yes. Depending on availability.

What do I do if I have a complaint?

Please do not hesitate to contact us if there is anything we can do to try and make your stay with us more comfortable. If you noticed anything that needs to be fixed around the house, please fill out one of our maintenance forms to bring it to our attention.

What happens if additional cleaning is required?

As a self-catering establishment, you are generally responsible to clean up after yourself during your stay. However, if you are staying for a week or longer, we will wash and replace your linen free of charge. If you wish for additional cleaning services to be provided during your stay, please arrange this with us prior to or upon your arrival. Please note that a disclosed fee will be charged.

Something is broken, what do I do?

Please do not hesitate to contact us if there is anything we can do to try and make your stay with us more comfortable. If you noticed anything that needs to be fixed around the house, please fill out one of our maintenance forms to bring it to our attention.

What payment options are available?

We accept all major credit cards. VISA + Master Card.

You will be charged a prepayment of 50% of the total price after reservation and the remaining amount in the 30 days before arrival.

Are there any other charges I need to be aware of?

Please note that upon arrival you will be charged a security / Key deposit of N$ 1.000 in cash if there are no Credit Card details provided. Refundable only, provided everything is in its original condition and no damages have occurred.

Is there a minimum stay for bookings?

Depending on the time of year, most bookings have a minimum stay of 2 to 3 nights. During the high season between December and February, a stay of 8 nights is the standard minimum.

How do I find the accommodation?

Property facilities

Is there free WIFE?

Absolutely! You will be given the password upon your arrival with us.

Can we get an extra bed/mattress?

Unfortunately each house is limited to a specific amount of beds and we do not provide any additional lodging.

Can you provide a baby cot?

Yes! If you would like us to provide you with a baby cot, please let us know prior to your arrival.

Is there secure parking provided?

Yes, all our units have FREE secure parking.

How big are the garages?

Our garages are extra-height and can fit the majority of all vehicles.

Is there an alarm system?

All of our homes are fitted with an active alarm system. You will be instructed how to work the system upon your arrival. If you are having any issues with the alarm system, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Is bed linen included?

Absolutely. We have ensured to provide you with the majority of all things you would expect to find at home. We are your home away from home apteral.

Will there be towels provided?

Absolutely. We have ensured to provide you with the majority of all things you would expect to find at home. We are your home away from home apteral.

Do I need to bring an hair dryer?

For your convenience all of our units are fitted with hair-dryers. Leave yours at home!

Are there facilities to do my laundry?

For your convenience all of our houses are equipped with a washing machine, tumble drier, washing line, iron and ironing board. If you require linen to be done, please contact us.

Accommodation questions

Is the accommodation pet friendly?

Your furry friends are more than welcome to join you when you are staying with us. For our convenience, every house is stocked with pet bowls for your convenience. For hygiene reasons we would like to ask that you please clean up after your pets.

Staying at Beach Walk? Please ensure that you do not keep your pets in the shared courtyard as there may be other unaware guests on the property with you who open the gate and let them run free. Instead, keep them behind the gate beside the Cottage. Additionally, keep in mind that there may be other pets on the property.

Why is the water cold?

In order to save electricity as well as do our bit to save the planet, all our houses heat water using Solar Geysers. Once the available hot water has been depleted there will be no hot water until the geyser has had the chance to heat up again - which can take anywhere between 2 and 4 hours.

It goes without say that without sun the water will not heat up at night. So before taking that extra long shower in the evening, think about whether you want warm water when you wake up.

Someone else is joining our family/group, what do we do?

If another person is joining your party and is coming to stay with you, please contact us and we will sort out the admit.

Why are some of the rooms locked?

We have locked all additional bedrooms depending on the size of your party. If you have another person going you and would like us to open another room/s, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will make the necessary arrangements.

Is this a smoking venue?

In accordance with Namibian law, all smoking indoors is strictly prohibited and any individual who fails to comply will have a fine levied against them. Please refine all smoking to the terrace/garden.
